I've loved the Sevenwaters novels by Juliet Marillier since early adolescence when I discovered them. It's been ten years (more or less) so it's hard to say if I'd love the early ones as much. The Nymphos of Rocky Flats by Mario Acevedo is about Felix Gomez, who became a vampire in Iraq. His friend in the Department of Energy asks him to look into some strange things happening at a base in Colorado. All the women seem to be nymphomaniacs. I'm not in such a creative mood and even if I was, I would have no desire to write this ending myself. The Lovely Bones ending was so gratutitous and so out of nowhere than a page with a troll face captioned "and then Susie woke up in her bed and it was all just a dream" would have been less jarring.
